Lee Tin-Jin (2nd R), 63, who was born on the Taiwan-held island of Quemoy and is a citizen of mainland China, burns "ghost" money in a ritual offering to the spirits of his ancestors with his brother (L) and daughter (R) in the Taiwan-controlled frontline island on Feburary 7, 2001, during Lee's first visit to the island since 1949. Lee was among a group of over 100 people who were onboard a Chinese boat which made the first legal, direct voyage to Quemoy in more than five decades.
