Sendy Allen of the United States, listed by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's tallest woman, arrives at a Taipei hotel to meet reporters at the start of three-week tour of Taiwan. Allen, 41, who stands 231.7 cm (seven feet, 7-1/4 inches) tall and weighs 182 kg (401 pounds), plans to visit with pupils at the world's biggest elementary school in Taipei and with Taiwan school children and hopes to meet President Lee Teng-hui.
