TAIWAN PRESIDENT-ELECT CHEN SHUI-BIAN POSES WITH A NATIONAL POLICY ADVISORY GROUP IN TAIPEI.
Taiwan president-elect Chen Shui-bian (R) and the island's state run Academia Sinica president Lee Yuan-tseh (L) pose with his national policy advisory group,before a meeting in Taipei 26. Chen hosted a meeting on Sunday to discuss forming the new cabinet. Local newspapers reported Chen asked Lee to serve as premier, but Lee told reporters he was not the only one who should be considered. The advisors behind Chen are Chang Chun-yen (C), president of National Chiao Tung University, Ko Chi-beng (R), publisher of the Taiwan News and chairman of local food maker I Mei, and Nita Ing (L) chairwoman of Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation.
