US MAJORITY WHIP TOM DELAY MEETS WITH TAIWAN'S PRESIDENT CHEN SHUI-BIAN
IN TAIPEI.
U.S. House of Representatives' Majority Whip Tom Delay (L), a
Republican from Texas, is given a warm greeting by Taiwan's President
Chen Shui-bian at Presidential Office in Taipei August 29, 2001. Delay
treated Chen to steak and took him to a baseball game when the Taiwan
leader made a stopover in the United States in June.
