Delegates from the Asian session of the Children's Parliament of the World offer "wais", a traditional Thai gesture of greeting, during a visit to Bangkok's Grand Palace January 12. Children from 32 countries around the world took part in a two-day session of the parliament which meets once a year in a host country and three other times via the internet. During the Bangkok session, delegates discussed child labour, the fate of children in war zones, the environment and pollution.
