Combination photos in this picture package show devotees of various Chinese shrines carrying statues and displaying piercings during street processions at the annual vegetarian festival in central Phuket during October 2012.

Bangkok based photographer Damir Sagolj travelled to Phuket to photograph the annual nine-day "Tesagin Kin Pak" vegetarian festival which consists of face-piercing, spirit mediums and strict vegetarianism.
