A man works on a bowl that will be used by Buddhist monks at a workshop at Ban Bat Community in Bangkok October 16, 2014. The Ban Bat community remains the only community in Thailand whose residents use an old hammering technique to produce hand-made bowls for Buddhist monks to collect their morning alms. Each "bat" (which means bowl in Thai) is made of eight pieces of metal, symbolising Buddha's Eightfold Path, that are hammered into shape and soldered together before being polished and lacquered.
