Japanese Deputy Director General Asian Affairs Bureau Sumio Tarui leads his delegation upon his arrival in Comoro airport in East Timor May 15. The Japanese fifteen-member delegation will assist the U.N. in its mission to oversea balloting by the people of the former Portugese colony that Indonesia annexed in 1976.
