Two East Timorese men inside the small bathroom of a burnt-out house in Liquica October 20 scratch around the dirt exposing some clothing that is apparently covering the body of a 19-year-old girl, who was reportedly killed by militia following a vote for independence in August. Authorities plan to exhume bodies when they visit a few suspected atrocity sites near Liquica.
