The USS Belleau Wood sits anchored off the port of Dili October 11 as seen from a gunner's position on a US helicopter gunship. The amphibious assualt ship, carrying 23 helicopters incuding the large Sea Stalliions and the Cobra Attack helicopter along with 1,800 naval and marine crew, is supporting INTERFET troops with logistics and helicopter missions.
