New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark (L) shares a joke with Singapore counterpart Goh Chok Tong after they signed a bilateral free trade agreement in Singapore November 14, 2000. The two leaders, who will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Brunei, said they hope the agreement could serve as a model for other countries that are committed to free trade.
