EMBRAER ASSEMBLY LINE IN BRAZIL.
Assembly line workers at the Embraer headquarters put the finishing touches on a regional jet made for American Eagle, in Sao Jose dos Campos, located in the state of Sao Paulo, July 7. Embraer crowned its rags-to-riches turnaround last month with sales worth $6.6 billion which put it right behind aerospace giants Boeing Co., Airbus Industrie and Bombardier Inc. as the world's fourth largest commercial jet maker. The number one exporter of manufactured goods, Embraer has an order book of $18 billion for state-of-the-art jets for companies like Delta, American Eagle and Continental Airlines.
