Presidential candidate Corneliu Vadim Tudor, the leader of the ultra-nationalist Greater Romania Party (PRM) accused his opponent former president [Ion Iliescu] of his communist past December 4, 2000 during a press conference. Tudor came second in first round elections with 28 percent of the vote after former leftist president [Ion Iliescu] which topped the list with 36 percent. The runoff is on December 10.
