A relative of Turkish soldier Cafer Celik cries during the funeral ceremony in Istanbul
A relative of Turkish soldier Cafer Celik cries during the funeral ceremony in Istanbul May 29, 2009. Celik was one of the six soldiers killed by a remote-controlled mine in the mainly Kurdish southeast, officials said last Thursday. Local government officials blamed the separatist Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) for the mine blast which struck a military vehicle in Hakkari province near the Iraqi and Iranian borders late on Wednesday.
