Metin Senturk (C) celebrates after claiming the new Guinness world record at the Sanliurfa GAP airport in Sanliurfa, southeastern Turkey, April 2, 2010. Senturk, a blind Turkish singer and President of the World Handicapped Foundation, set a new Guinness world record by reaching a speed of 292.89 km/hr in a Ferrari F430 car worth Euro 300,000 ($406, 302). The 44-year-old, who has been blind for most of his life, set the record for Fastest Speed For a Car Driven Blindfolded (or blind) in a bid to aid handicapped people around the world.
