The Bosphorus suspension bridge is shrouded in thick fog in Istanbul January 12, 2005, on the second consecutive day which caused the closure of sea traffic including tankers due to low visibility on the Bosphorus waterways. Turkish maritime officials closed the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits to all traffic due to low visibility beacuse of dense fog since Tuesday.
