A woman carry salt rocks on her head after they are extracted from the bed of Lake Katwe, 497 km (309 miles) west of Uganda capital Kampala January 29, 2013. The rock is extracted three times a week, usually by men who work from dust to dawn, and are paid two dollars for every 100 kg (220 pounds) of salt rock sold during dry seasons.
