U.S. Army Captain Benjamin Jackson ices his feet after finishing a 24 hour Cavalry "Spur Ride" for members of the US Army's 6th Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment in Fort Drum, New York September 30, 2010. The "Spur Ride" is a voluntary rite of passage where members of the U.S. Army Cavalry perform several physical tests utilizing their Army training and physical fitness while learning the history of the unit.
