CHINA'S PREMIER WEN WALKS WITH PRESIDENT BUSH TO THE OVAL OFFICE.
U.S. President George W. Bush and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (L) wave
as they walk toward the Oval Office after an arrival ceremony at the
White House, December 9, 2003. During their meeting today, Bush will
push Wen to take steps toward a revaluation of the Chinese currency and
for help on resolving the year old North Korean nuclear crisis. Wen's
is seeking a clear assurance that the United States opposes moves by
rival Taiwan toward independence.
