Guest of honour, composer Quincy Jones, kisses singer Patti Austin during a reception before the ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Film and Television Awards in Beverly Hills April 27. Jones was awarded the Henry Mancini Award for lifetime achievement for his musical contributions to film and television. He has scored over thirty films, including such hits as "The Pawnbroker. " Austin performed a medley of Jones' compositions at the awards show.
