Retired Serb Vice Admiral Miodrag Jokic (C) awaits the verdict of the judges at the Hague tribunal in the Netherlands, March 18, 2004. Judges at The Hague tribunal sentenced a retired Yugoslav navy vice admiral to seven years in jail on Thursday for a 1991 attack on the Croatian city of Dubrovnik in which civilians were killed by shell fire. Miodrag Jokic, who pleaded guilty in August to murder, cruel treatment, attacks on civilians and destruction of historic buildings when his forces shelled the walled city, apologised for the shelling at the U.N. court last year. .
