Mozambique's Gaza province lies underwater February 22, after being flooded by heavy rains which drenched southern Africa. Flooding has forced an estimated 800,000 Mozambicans find temporary refuge and has left at least 50 dead across southern Africa. Floodwaters spread across vast tracts of farmland in southern Mozambique on Tuesday as French aid workers tried to beat twin cyclones and get help to thousands of rural farmers stranded by weeks of torrential rain.
