RESIDENTS DRIVE THROUGH THE FLOODED STREETS OF CANCUN.
Residents drive through the flooded streets of Cancun, Mexico, plowing
through water levels that reached wheel-wells and left some motorists
stranded after a night of torrential rains and flooding caused by
Tropical Storm Claudette, July 11, 2003. Claudette blew in from the
Caribbean, threatening to become a hurricane with sustained winds of 70
mph that were expected to reach hurricane strengths of 74 mph.
