A VICTIM IS DUG OUT FROM A CARACAS MUDSLIDE.
The body of Nester Diaz, 29, is dug out from a mudslide December 17, in Caracas. Diaz, along with 11 other family members, were crushed to death by an avalanche of mud Thursday night. Hundreds of people, swept away by raging rivers and mudslides were still missing Friday in Venezuela's capital and along its scenic Caribbean coastline in the country's worst natural disaster in 50 years. At least 200 people were killed, most of them buried alive under avalanches of mud, but authorities feared the eventual death toll could be much higher. At least 7,000 people are missing.
