Dave Phillips, founder of the Free Willy Keiko Foundation, talks with reporters moments before Keiko's departure September 9. Keiko, killer whale star of the movie "Free Willy," began his long journey home to Iceland and a possible return to the wild after being hoisted into a water-filled cargo container. The 9,000-pound (4,100 kg) black-and-white whale, was lifted by crane from his aquarium and into a custom-built container for the 14-hour trip by truck, plane and barge to his new bay pen in Iceland's Westman Islands.
