An activist is hit with a baton by a riot policeman when police moved on a crowd blocking the exit to the World Economic Forum in Melbourne September 12, 2000. Activists had surrounded the site of the conference blocking all the exits for delegates to leave, causing police to clear an exit to allow buses full of delegates to exit conference site.
