Michael D. Capellas, the newly appointed Chairman and CEO of WorldCom, Inc.,
speaks to the media at a press conference in New York officially announcing
him as CEO November 15, 2002. Mr. Capellas is the former president of
Hewlett-Packard Company and prior to HP, the Chairman and CEO of Compaq
