Exhausted ethnic Albanian refugees are overcome with emotion as they cross over the border from Kosovo and into northern Albania April 15. A Reuters correspondent said the refugees, part of a group of more than 4,000 that crossed into Albania at Morina near Kukes late on Wednesday, were clearly in shock and gave identical accounts of the time and location of the attack. Belgrade has accused NATO of bombing the convoy. The Pentagon said on Wednesday NATO was investigating reports that Serb troops or police had attacked refugees in a Yugoslav military convoy and a spokesman said refugees told U.N. workers in Albania they were attacked by Serb warplanes.
