BELARUS PRESIDENT LUKASHENKO VISITS ALLEGED CASUALTY OF NATO BOMBING.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko (C) talks to the head of the hospital Dr. Radoslav Svicevic (L) during his visit to the central military hospital in Belgrade April 14. Lukashenko visited people who were allegedly wounded in NATO airstrikes against Yugoslavia. Lukashenko said he was as good a leader as any to try to mediate in the Yugoslav conflict as both Belarus and Russia continue to strongly oppose NATO bombing in the country they share ethnic and religious ties with.
