China's flagship newspaper, keeping up Beijing's barrage of outrage, condemned NATO's bombing of its embassy in Belgrade as an act of "lunatic cruelty" on Thursday. The People's Daily said in a commentary NATO's strike on the Chinese mission flouted international laws protecting diplomats and "increasingly demonstrated its lunatic cruelty".
