BRIDGE OVER RIVER LIM DESTROYED IN NATO STRIKE IN BISTRICA.
Two men ride in a boat beside a railway bridge over the river Lim which was destroyed April 15, by a NATO air strike near the village of Bistrica, some 280km southwest of Belgrade. NATO launched the heaviest air raids of its three-week-old campaign on Belgrade which resounded overnight to anti-aircraft fire and explosions. NATO warplanes were also seen striking targets around Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, the first directed against the pro-Western junior partner in the Yugoslav federation in a week.
