YUGOSLAV PRESIDENT SLOBODAN MILOSEVIC AND FORMER GREEK FM KAROLOS PAPOULIAS DURING MEETING IN BELGRADE.

Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic (R) talks to former Greek Foreign Minister Karolos Papoulias (L) during meeting in Belgrade June 2. Papoulias, known for his good contacts in the Balkans, who now presides over the Greek parliament's foreign policy committee, will meet Yugoslav politicians across the political spectrum. Greece has been historically sympathetic to fellow-Orthodox Christian Serbia but recently the government has issued harsh condemnations against Belgrade's crackdown on the press.
