ETHNIC ALBANIANS PASS BY FRENCH KFOR SOLDIER IN KOSOVSKA MITROVICA GRAVEYARD.
A French KFOR soldier stands on guard while ethnic Albanians pass along the graveyard in Kosovska Mitrovica January 8. Under a deal between Serb and ethnic Albanian leaders, Albanians were able to visit the graves of their relatives on the Moslem holiday of Eid-al-Fitr (Bajram) in a part of the divided city dominated by Serbs. In return Serbs were escorted to the main Orthodox church, which is in ethnic Albanian controlled part of the town to celebrate Orthodox Christmas.
