AN ETHNIC ALBANIAN BOY MAKES VICTORY SIGN IN LAPASHTICA.
An ethnic Albanian boy makes the victory sign January 2 as he drives a horse driven cart in the village of Lapashtica in the Podujevo area, 30 km (18 miles) north of Pristina, the regional capital of Kosovo. The ceasefire brokered by international monitors was holding for the sixth day but the situation still remains tense in the region, prompting many families to leave.
