About 3,000 ethnic Albanian refugees from the southern Kosovo Urosevac area have fled to this remote village of 500 residents in no-man's land on the border between Macedonia and Yugoslavia on April 16. Most walked for several hours through mountains to reach the tiny village, about 60 km north of Skopje, and found shelter at homes and the village school, where dozens are packed in classrooms.
