YUGOSLAV PRESIDENT MILOSEVIC AT RECEPTION IN BELGRADE.
Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic attends a reception on the eve of the Serbia's World War II Uprising Day, a country's bank and public holiday, in Belgrade July 6. The Yugoslav parliament approved in principle on Thursday a proposal for constitutional changes which could pave the way for President Milosevic to win a new term in office through a popular ballot. Analysts say the proposal would allow Milosevic to stay in office after his term expires next year. Currently the president is elected by parliament and cannot run twice.
