Two mountain zebras graze at their breeding ground outside Cape Town, May 29. The pair are part of a programme attempting to rebreed the Quagga, once thought to be an extinct specis of zebra. Researchers are attempting to reintroduce the Quagga by selective breeding of individual animals with suitable genetic characteristics. Picture taken May 29.
