The game, which was invented to promote Scotch whisky has gained cult status in Germany with thousands of working hours being squandered in virtual grouse shooting. Players of the 90 second cartoon game get the chance to shoot grouse in the Highlands. Moorhen Hunt has given rise to multi-million-pound merchandising deals, a chart-hitting pop song and a television show.
