Leontien Zijlaard of the Netherlands holds the gold medal which she won in the women's Olympic individual time-trial race in Sydney, September 30, 2000. Zijlaard has dominated the women's cycling at the Olympics taking the gold in the road race as well as a gold during the track competition in the individual pursuit event.
