Zimbabwe opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai shakes hands with supporters after winning his High Court case against government April 26, 2001. Tsvangirai, leader of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), was one of 37 MDC candidates contesting election results in the June 2000 Parliamentary polls. The MDC claimed that the elections were not free and fair due to violence from ruling party supporters.
