FORMER PRESIDENT OF ZIMBABWE FARMERS UNION TALKS WITH WAR VETERAN LEADER HUNZVI.
Former President of Commercial Farmer Union (CFU) Nick Swanepoel (L) talks with Zimbabwe war veterans' leader Chenjerai Hunzvi (R), April 28, prior to Hunzvi telling supporters to end violence on white-owned farms, saying they would continue to occupy land but would not interfere with farming activities. Hunzvi spoke after a third day of talks with the country's mainly white commercial farmers to end a two-month-old crisis that has seen thousands of self-styled war veterans invade hundreds of farms, terrorizing farmers and farmworkers.
